Appallingly bad!
This has come to my attention, this site.. that has left me gob-smacked and flabbergasted when I read what seemingly looks like an innocent competition to find the best mobile and web application….of course any willing developer would think that there’s a prize or a reward for showcasing their talent…. sponsored by the ‘Irish Independant’….Looking around at the site, I am left wondering, “just what the hell are they at”, in uncertain economic times, with many job losses, and the site has the cheek and audacity to ask for couple of quid for submitting an application (whether mobile or web based)…
Who do they think they are… asking for 75 euros excluding VAT on top of it, which brings it to a grand total of 91 euros in total, all for what, a measly submission, and sure media exposure…. that’s quite mean…
Who rakes in the profits… the sponsors… yup!
A sign of desperation, not on the developer’s part, but on the sponsor’s part…. disgusting and appalling in taking in submission fee per application submitted…. which I think is absolutely hypocritical… who do they think we are, Santa Claus, nuff said…
This is a complete and utter joke!
Good luck to those impoverished developers, who will be left penniless after submitting an application or two, and not get anything out of it….
over my dead body that I will ever submit to them!!!
